General Information
Office Hours:
Our office is open from 9:00am until 5:00pm
Monday through Friday. Special appointments can be scheduled on an individual
basis for consultations or post-operatively as needed.
Hospital
Affiliations:
Dr. McDonough has admitting and surgical privileges
at the Orlando Regional Healthcare (formerly ORMC). He has additional affiliations
with the Florida Hospital system and its seven branches including Winter Park
Memorial Hospital and its Ambulatory Surgical Center.
Consultations:
New office visits will include an initial consultation to discuss your individual
needs. This will consist of a complete physical examination as well as education
which may include video tapes. Your condition and surgical options, risks, and
benefits will be discussed with Dr. McDonough at this time. The cost of this consultation
will be deducted from your total surgical expenses (i.e. waived) should you elect
to proceed with surgery.
Payment:
Most cosmetic
surgery is not covered under insurance plans unless medical necessity is determined.
However, reconstructive surgery is frequently covered by the majority of insurance
plans. Various options for payment may be discussed at the time of your initial
visit. Methods of acceptable payment include: MasterCard, Visa, check, or cash.
Financing is also available and it is customary to make payment two weeks in advance
of your actual surgery or procedure. | |
